Ninja Warrior
Ninja warrior originated from a Japanese sports variety show, Sasuke. Every competition challenge the competitor against a four stage obstacle course. Each stage, increasing in obstacle difficulties. Only upon completing of one stage then is the competitor allow to advance to the next.
Ever since Sasuke aired on television in 2002, the sport has since increased its popularity around the world with different countries having their own version of the competition.
SG Ninja Warrior: Alvin Tan
To allow more awareness of the sport in Singapore, Ninja Warrior Alvin Tan has dedicated his time to promote the sport. Sharing training tips to the public and interested parties. Having taken part in numerous overseas competition, Alvin boast a large number of experience under his belt.
Dedicated to groom more ninja warrior and enthusiast, Alvin has set up classes at numerous location around Singapore. Kids as young as seven and working class adults have all signed up for his training.
To be able to educate the sport beyond the experience but also the fitness aspect, Alvin has sign up and took on sports related courses to understand the methods of teaching and how to properly share his training methods to those who are interested. A "forever learning, forever improving" mentality is truly a spirit of a great warrior
